Honor Our Angels—Support the Angel of Hope Program
As the year draws to a close, we at Angela’s House find ourselves reflecting together on the families and children whose memories guide everything we do. Among the most meaningful programs we support is the Angel of Hope Program, which oversees the Angel of Hope statue in Eisenhower Park—a sacred space where families gather to honor children taken from us far too soon. Thank you to so many of you who braved the cold to join us earlier this month for our annual vigil. It remains such a sacred and spiritual event, and we hope it feels that way for you and your family too.
For so many, the Angel of Hope is more than a statue. It is a quiet place to talk, to cry, to remember, and to feel connected to a community that understands loss. We regularly hear from you - parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends who visit this space seeking comfort. Although the program is unfunded, its impact is immeasurable.
To ensure the Angel of Hope remains a place of beauty and healing, we must make several updates this spring, including:
• Restoration to the statue structure
• Power washing of the surrounding area
• Seasonal planting and care of the flower beds
These improvements will preserve the space we have all come to rely on—but we need your help to make them possible. Our goal is to raise $3,000 by December 31st to fund this work and prepare for spring updates. Every gift, no matter the size, brings us closer to keeping this precious place alive and tended with the care it deserves.
