Team Mackenzie walks again! Team Mackenzie was established by Tracy Borchers, Mackenzie’s mom. Mackenzie was born with a rare congenital heart defect called HLHS. During Mackenzie’s short but beautiful life she endured so many surgeries, procedures and hospital stays. She spent countless hours in emergency rooms and doctor’s offices. She had countless therapies, numerous medications and lots of support staff. Through it all Angela’s House was right there give support not only to Mackenzie but to her parents, Tracy & Joe Borchers as well. This page honors Mackenzie’s life but also supports the organization responsible for helping to give her the quality of life she so deserved.
